Andrew Dewhirst, Member– Drew manages the day to day operations of the Powder River team from the home office in Eagle, ID. Drew's experience in both the private and public sectors, in project management, site acquisition and land use entitlements dates back to 1998. Prior to forming Powder River, Drew worked for several wireless carriers performing site acquisition and zoning services, including T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, Cricket Communications and SBA, Inc. Drew also worked for the Millennium Venture Group at their national headquarters in Denver, where he was responsible for zoning/permitting retail stores in Colorado for MVG and their clients. Drew is a former City Planner, most recently as the Albany County (Laramie) Planning Director. Drew has a B. A. from Fresno State University, and a M. A. in Geography, with an emphasis in Planning, from the University of Wyoming. Drew resides in Eagle, ID with his wife and their three children.

Patrick Campbell, Member- Patrick has extensive knowledge of construction project management, site leasing, and land use entitlement experience. Since 1993, Patrick has worked for several wireless carriers performing site design and construction management in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Cleveland, and New York for such carriers as AT&T Wireless, Nextel, T-Mobile, Cricket and Metricom. Patrick oversaw the project from the design stages through to the launch of the network. Patrick has a B. S. from Kansas State University and resides in Bend, OR.

Management Team

Dan Keidel, Vice President of Wireless Services – Dan is responsible for directing operations for all PRDS wireless projects throughout the U.S. Before taking over his current position as Vice President of Wireless Services Dan worked as our VP of Operations and a Project Manager for numerous projects. He has been in the Wireless Project/Program Management field since 2000 and with Powder River since 2006. Before joining Powder River Dan worked at Lucent Technologies in a variety of functions ranging from project controls to single point of contact program manager for many customers including Cricket, Nextwave, nTelos, Cellular South, Alltel and MetroPCS.  Dan holds a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and resides in Columbus, OH with his wife and son.

Mark Thompson - Vice President of Architecture & Engineering Services – Mark manages all PRDS Engineers /Architects /CAD Operators in providing professional services to wireless carriers for the design of individual and market wide build-outs of wireless communications sites.  As head of the PRDS A&E Division, Mark organizes and schedules all the tasks required for the coordination of various scopes of work. Mark also tracks all projects from site walk through building permit with PRDS acquisition agents.  This direct contact also includes market managers and project managers for the coordination of all the deliverables required for the on-time launch of sites and markets. Mark has a very "hands-on" approach to each market, making sure he's involved in every step of the A&E process.  In the past, Mark has served as an A&E Program Manager with a staff of up to 20 Engineers /Architects /CAD Operators who worked specifically with wireless carriers for the design of individual and market wide build-outs of wireless communications sites.  Mark has been directly involved with clients such as Cricket Communications, Sprint/Nextel, AT&T, Clearwire, T-Mobile, Alltel, Goodman Networks, ATC, Crown Castle, SBA, Liberty Towers, Global Tower Partners, Shentel Communications and many others. Marks earliest experience was as a Chief CAD Operator for numerous companies specializing in structural engineering, civil engineering, and surveying. Mark resides with his wife and two children in Sharpsville, PA.

Jerome H. Bauer (Jerry), President of Land Services– Jerry is responsible for the day to day management of the Land Services Division of Powder River. Powder River Land Services LLC provides turnkey services for Oil & Gas Lease Brokerage projects as well as pipeline and electrical transmission Right-of-Way acquisition services to clients throughout the Rocky Mountain and the Mid Continent Regions of the US. With more than 20 years of Petroleum Land in-house and field experience, Jerry has managed Oil & Gas Lease Acquisition plays in highly competitive prospects from the Williston Basin to the deep gas plays of the Michigan Basin. His knowledge of the business and ability to manage large projects has resulted in providing his clients with a superior leasehold position in their areas of interest. Prior to becoming part of the Powder River team, Jerry provided independent petroleum land services to various clients. He also has an extensive background in managing large wireless telecommunication market launches. Jerry attended the University of Michigan and he and his wife currently reside in Au Gres, MI.

Mike Shalz, Chief Financial Officer– Mike joined Powder River Development Services in November 2010 and provides finance and accounting expertise for the company. Mike has over 26 years of accounting and finance experience. His experience includes working for 17 years at Albertson’s, Inc. one of the largest grocery retail companies in the world. Mike has also provided his financial expertise in the manufacturing, software, and construction industries with prior positions of Director, Controller and CFO. Mike graduated with a BBA in Finance from Boise State University. Mike currently resides in Eagle, Idaho with his wife Sabrina and their three children.

Linda Aganon, Human Resources Manager – Linda is an integral part to the Powder River home office in Eagle, ID. She has years of diversified experience as a contract administrator, human resources manager, office/facilities manager, and travel and event planner. In addition to Human Resources, Linda is also responsible for client projects, contract administration, and facilities setup for new regional and project offices. Linda currently resides in Eagle, ID.

Casey Glenn - Business Development Manager - Casey has been with PRDS since 2008. His wireless experience includes work in site acquisition, leasing, zoning, permitting, and project management of wireless communications sites for clients across the west before taking over his current business development role. Predating wireless, Glenn was a collegiate football coach, serving as an assistant at The University of Oklahoma, The University of Wyoming, as well as South Dakota and Idaho State. He was an All-American football player on Carroll College’s (Helena, Montana) first National Championship team while receiving his B. A. in Business Administration and Sports Management. Casey received his M.A. in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. He resides in Meridian, ID with his wife, Shannon, and their two children. 

Mike Willard, Director of Sales - Mike has over 30 years of strategic business-to-business sales and marketing expertise focusing his efforts in telecom over the last decade in the International Telecom Corridor located in the DFW region of Texas. During his tenure in Dallas, Mike worked for several years at Goodman Networks, where he held the position of Director of Business Development in the Central Region earning multiple year Top Sales and Top Margin performance recognition. Mike is a compelling, consultative, customer-centric sales professional specializing in building and retaining relationships with C-Level, SCM, and Operation/Implementation teams working closely as a services provider for companies such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Andrew Corp., Ericsson, Nokia Siemens, Sprint/Nextel and various OEM’s. Mike was introduced to the telecom industry in the Research Triangle of North Carolina working in B2B data/voice enterprise in Raleigh. Born and raised on a ranch in the Flint Hills of Kansas, Mike received his Bachelor’s and Masters of Science degrees at Kansas State University, as well as serving in the United States Air Force and Army National Guard. Mike joins PRDS, ready to embrace the company vision and contribute his efforts toward our strategic plan to maximize sales and market share in promoted telecom network services. Mike and his family reside in Dallas, TX.

Justin Zabel, Information Manager – Justin began working for PRDS in 2006 and is primarily responsible for oversight of Information Technology. As needed, he assists with staffing and recruiting, business development and strategic planning. Justin has also managed his own IT consulting business and worked in the BioScience industry. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from the University of Wyoming. Justin currently resides in Boise, ID with his wife, Sarah, and their two children.
